As I explain at the CPSA 2026 conference, gender isn’t a side issue in climate diplomacy; it's the fault line shaping negotiation, power, and policy.

The PSA 2026 presentation analyzed tensions between technocratic environmentalism and transformative ecologism, situating these debates within recent global election outcomes and the UK Green Wave. It examined how Green political thought negotiates participatory democracy, ecological limits, and civic responsibility, emphasizing the need to align democratic practice with ecological sustainability.

I had the opportunity to present at the ICA-CCR Global Research Conference, held from July 8–11, 2025. My talk, "Reimagining Cooperative Movements: Global Greens Governance Within Jack Quarter’s Social Economy Framework", explored how the Global Greens confederation behaves like a political or hybrid cooperative. Drawing on Quarter's definition, I argued that the confederation operates as a social movement organization (SMO) and a mutual association for electoral support and global solidarity.
