Intercooperation for Our Common Futures
I had the opportunity to present at the ICA-CCR Global Research Conference, held from July 8–11, 2025. My talk, "Reimagining Cooperative Movements: Global Greens Governance Within Jack Quarter’s Social Economy Framework", explored how the Global Greens confederation behaves like a political or hybrid cooperative. Drawing on Quarter's definition, I argued that the confederation operates as a social movement organization (SMO) and a mutual association for electoral support and global solidarity.

Inclusive Solidarities: Reimagining Boundaries in Divided Times
Earlier this July, I presented at the 2025 Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics (SASE) conference in Montréal. Our session focused on the discursive and institutional dynamics behind sustainable governance. My presentation, titled “Negotiating the Global Boiling Point: Symbolic Interactions at COP29,” explored how the COP process functions not simply as a mechanism for policy coordination, but as a performance of meaning-making, where language, symbolism, and power intersect.

Gender and Climate at COP30
I was invited to be a panelist for the Global Greens Climate Working Group webinar called Road to Belem: Bonn 62. On this panel, she spoke of the impacts of climate change on gender, how gender-based violence goes far beyond physical or intimate partner violence, and how climate negotiations at COP cannot continue to deprioritize the intersectionality of climate justice and gender.
