The Road to COP30: Bonn SB62
was invited to be a panelist for the Global Greens Climate Working Group webinar called Road to Belem: Bonn 62. On this panel, she spoke of the impacts of climate change on gender, how gender-based violence goes far beyond physical or intimate partner violence, and how climate negotiations at COP cannot continue to deprioritize the intersectionality of climate justice and gender.

Asian Spa Community Meeting
Alison hosted a meeting with the Asian spa community of Richmond Hill, which is finding itself suddenly targeted by city bylaw officers without explanation or guidance. With significant language barriers, lack of information, and no warning, they have been living in an environment of fear and intimidation. Our meeting represented one of many steps we will be taking to ensure an equitable outcome that is free of discrimination.

PrideTO
Alison joined members of the Green Party of Ontario and the Green Party of Canada at Toronto Pride to march in support of an individual's deeply personal right to identify and express in the manner that is right for them. It was heartwarming to see so many come out to celebrate the diversity that makes our community so rich and vibrant.
