G100 is an influential group of 100 women leaders from around the world, each leading one of 100 wings, supported by country, state, and regional chairs, working towards powerful advocacy, awareness & impact across governments and global organizations for a gender equal future.
About Us
Security and Defence has traditionally been defined by such topics as military conflicts, war and armaments, and global cybersecurity. Within G100, the intention is to view Security and Defence through a gender lens, encompassing such areas as climate justice, economic stability, and human security. To support this crucial wing, much of our work in Ontario will be focused on the defence of marginalized genders in environmental justice, reproductive and precarious labour, community development, global security and the social economy. This will take the form of speaking engagements, statements and publications, interviews, events and global collaborations.
